Now, we're dedicated to helping humans too.

This past May, we were thrilled to partner up with the Alamitos West Health & Rehabilitation Center to coordinate a special Mother's Day Event with their residents. At Alamitos West, many of their patients are senior citizens in physical therapy and, sadly, a lot of them were not expecting any visitation on Mother's Day. Thanks to the support of our donors though, we were able to host a program that consisted of a live singing performance, savory pastries, cupcakes, & non-alcoholic champagne! Even better, each lady got to pick out a gift (or two!) to brighten up their space! We had plush blankets, cozy socks, scarves, flower bouquets, and festive balloons for them to choose from. Each lady left the program with a huge smile on her face and the joy in that facility is something we will truly never forget.

This month, we are helping Stacie Athon, a member of our community who is currently fighting with triple negative breast cancer. We created a special shirt for October and a portion of proceeds will be given to Stacie for her costly chemotherapy treatments.
